Do you like nature walks? Have you done it through a river?<\/h3>\n

The Virgin River<\/strong> has sculpted a spectacular ravine in the upper courses of Zion Canyon<\/strong>, in the USA<\/strong>; 26 km long, up to 600 meters deep and depending on the area, 5 to 10 meters wide.<\/p>\n

The Narrows,<\/strong> with its majestic walls, sandstone niches, natural slopes and hanging gardens can be an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n

Walking down The Narrows means walking down the Virgin River<\/strong>. At least 60 percent of the walk is wading, walking and sometimes swimming. It’s not just any path. The current can be fast, the water is cold and the rocks we walk on are slippery. There are possibilities of flash flooding and hypothermia in certain months and that is why we only travel in the months where the water flow is lowest and tracking the weather forecast. Properly done, it’s totally safe and even for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The key? Go prepared. . .<\/h3>\n

Before starting the walk, we will get the weather forecast and know the probabilities of a flood. The problem is that it could be raining miles away, not perceiving it and surprising us in the form of a flood in the middle of our path.<\/p>\n

We will rent you special waterproof and non-slip boots with ankle protection, designed for walking in the water.<\/p>\n

You will carry a wooden stick, which we will also provide you with, to help you during your journey down the river.<\/p>\n

You will have to take four liters of drinking water per person per day, food, sunglasses, sun protection and our guide will carry a small first aid kit.<\/p>\n
