The Maldives archipelago is located in the Indian Ocean, near the southern tip of India, and consists of approximately 26 atolls and 1196 islands. Baa Atoll is the only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Maldives.

Arrival

The experience begins with the arrival at Malé International Airport. Our representative at the airport will transfer us to a private lounge where we can relax and enjoy a snack while we wait for the departure of our next flight. The flight time by seaplane is approximately 30 minutes and will allow us to experience a panoramic view of the beautiful islands of the Maldives. Upon arrival on the island, we will check-in at our villa. Then, they will leave us a bag so that we leave our shoes aside during our entire stay on the island, we will put on our swimsuit and enjoy the first bath on our private beach. Later we get on our bicycles and explore the island. We can enjoy its lush vegetation and its paradisiacal beaches. With 1400m long and 400m wide it is one of the largest islands in the Maldives. Apart from its crystalline waters, white sand beaches and tropical climate, the island has a rich and unusual vegetation that will offer you a unique natural experience. Before dinner, enjoy the treatment of your choice at the Six Senses Kunfunadhoo SPA. Check on arrival the Wellness programs designed to express your days on the island to the fullest and achieve the goals you came with: detox, fitness or sleep. At night they will take us (blindfolded) to a secret place in the middle of the jungle. There our chef will offer us a gourmet menu that will make us enjoy with all the senses.

Day 2

After breakfast we will ride a speedboat to reach the beautiful reefs of the Baa Atoll and live a wonderful experience of snorkeling or diving (at your choice). At noon we will return to the hotel, eat and enjoy sunbathing in our villa and swimming in our private pool. In the afternoon we will do some paddle surf. A fun and relaxing activity to enjoy the ocean, taking advantage of the calm waters of the Maldives.

Day 3

Today we will do a free diving course. Free diving is a very stimulating way to discover the underwater world using only our natural breathing, without auxiliary tools. Holding our breath underwater leads us naturally to a state of full awareness. You will surely find great pleasure in learning, training and the refined experience of free diving and you will experience a unique union with the ocean. At night we will enjoy the most exclusive experience imaginable: We will spend a romantic night under the vast skies of the Maldives absolutely alone on a sandbar in the middle of the Indian Ocean. We will arrive accompanied by a boat to the sandbar. After setting up a luxurious Bedouin tent and serving dinner, they will leave us in absolute solitude to spend the night listening to the gentle waves around us. Until breakfast we will be in absolute privacy and our only companions will be the stars in the sky.

Day 4

Before noon we will leave our private sandbar and return with the boat to the hotel. In the afternoon we will go out in a “dhoni”, a traditional Maldivian ship, towards deeper waters and we will see dozens of playful dolphins in the light of the setting sun. Dolphins are regular visitors in the waters near Soneva Fushi, and sightings are almost guaranteed. It is a fascinating and beautiful experience. At night, after dinner, we will go to the observatory, located in the organic garden, to see the stars from a Meade RCX400 telescope. Check out the nature of our universe with 3D astronomy that allows you to see space and deep objects as they are. Soneva Sushi is the first resort in the world that offered this technology to its customers.

Day 5

After our yoga or Tai Chi session, we will go to have breakfast. Later, we will get lost again with our bike because of the nature of the island. Cross it entirely and dip into the water on the beach that you most like! This afternoon it’s time to enjoy a movie at the Cinema Paradiso in Turtle Beach. The first open-air cinema in Maldives, with the largest screen in the entire Indian Ocean. It´s almost 14m. Enjoy your popcorn or a good ice cream, while watching the movie lying down. At night choose the place that you most like to have your dinner prepared for you.

Departure

In the morning we take the opportunity to enjoy our private beach for the last time. We plunge into the clear crystalline waters and sunbathe on the white sand or on our sun loungers. We return with a seaplane to Malé International Airport. There we will take our international flight back home or to another destination that we have chosen.
